This is the hardest day of the year for me. I wish I could have my kids stay home with me forever!!
Today my baby girl attended grade two! Grade 5 & 11 are hard too. The worst? My eldest is in college!!! Where does the time go?
All the kids had a great First Day.
How was your experience today? Did your children have a positive day? I sure hope so!!!

In Vancouver, the teachers still back at work so its an extended summer for the kids.
Not sure when school will begin.

I love that the kids get excited to shop, see their friends, hang out and learn but it breaks my heart that they will gone so much. Even more my kids come from a broken home so they are gone some weekends so it hurts that they are gone at school all week as well

Oh Tara, that is hard.
My old job I worked every night, weekend and holiday. I saw my kids for 40mins before the bus in the morning and Tuesday/Wednesday nights. (Weekends they relaxed at my in-laws) I remember how hard that was. I cannot imagine your situation.
? Hugs to you and the kids

It is very hard. Their Dad is pretty great and lets me keep them home or switch things around when he is able to. I used to work as a PSW which meant I worked weekends and every holiday. I remember spending Christmas with my residents rather than my children. Thanks for the warm thoughts. I know life always gets better :)
