Have any of you ladies tried Geocaching? I hate being agoraphobic and try to get out of the house when I have a good day, My insurance is also about to come through and I'm making plans for when I'm well again!

Geocaching seems so interesting.

My brother is super into it and goes on some pretty cool adventures with it! I've gone along a couple of times. It's a lot of fun. I think you will really like it! I'm happy to hear that your insurance is almost through! Its good to make plans for when you're feeling better, it's important to have things to look forward to!

I thought it was so exciting sounding. The only thing is I worry I won't be able to see where it is. ^_^;

Thank you

And a great way to get more active, I think. Just make sure to actually open the cache yourself just in case. There are rules, but we all know people who'll ruin it for everyone!

Caches on Mar 17, 2016 @ 10:38 pm

I've only gone a few times and it was number of years ago but the ones I saw were in plastic containers mostly. Saw a number of things in there....flashlight, chocolate bar, a colander?! Haha. There's actually a bench at a playground near my house that has its coordinates written in a small plaque on the bench and it's actually a geocache, which I thought was kind of cool. My brother has gone in the mountains, in caves and all sorts of interesting places. It's a lot of fun.

I'm definitely going for the more urban/easy ones, at least at first. I wish I had one of those fujifilm cameras, I'd love to leave a picture of us at each location, hehehe.

I can't wait to get going, but I'm so busy over the next few days.

Never heard of geoc aching until I read this post. Then I Googled it and read about it on Wikipedia. What a cool concept! It's like a treasure hunt around the world! Good luck and have fun! Let us know how your adventure goes. :)
