Last Friday I bought one of those infinity scarfs from Shop.ca. They took my money and told me in an email that they would send me my tracking number as soon as it went out. Well Wednesday I got another email from them and I thought it was my tracking number. It turned out they were just letting me know they would be returning my money because the scarf I ordered was discontinued. Now why would they even have things posted on the web site and let me put the order through if it was discontinued before hand. As far as I'm concerned they should have removed it from the site, or at least said the item was discontinued under it, not let me order it and then tell me I can't have it. I'm so bummed out. I don't normally shop on line and this has just made me not want to even more. Has this ever happened to any of you at this store, or any other store??

It's pretty common! I have shopped quite a few times on Shop.ca, and received e-mails a week afterwards saying the items were discontinued, or sold out - or on back order. The excuses are starting to add up! It's a shame, because they have some great items and prices.
