|I wish I had a routine. on Apr 08, 2015 @ 07:54 am|
Every time I do laundry I think - next time I will get to it sooner so it isn't such a hassle! Next thing I know the laundry basket is overflowing. I usually sort the clothes and do 2 loads - a smaller load for the dryer, and 1-2 loads that will hang up to dry. Someone recently asked me if I had any help with laundry and thankfully I do :) Usually my bf and I will take turns or help each other out with it so that it gets finished faster!

I usually do a load of whites and then throw in the colours once the whites are in the dryer. If I don't do it all at once then it never gets done! I try to make it a habit to get started on it every Saturday afternoon to make sure that my clothes are ready for Monday morning.

I just sort lights and darks. Before I would mix but now that we have our daughter I don't want to wreck her pretty pinks and whites :) I can't wait for the warmer weather to hang laundry again!

I only do laundry when I run out of things to wear - oops. I do all my laundry on weekend to save on hydro prices.

11kalf — I'm curious to know where you found out that it's cheaper to do laundry on the weekend? I'd like to check it out for myself. Thanks!

I actually just seperate my lights and my darks and wash them seperately, and I hang dry my scarves and the shirts that I need to hang dry as well.

I keep on top of my laundry! I always have, but that's because I'm a clean person. I confess I still do it at my mom's, however! She has a huge industrial front loader so I can get a huge load down in HOT water. I don't care what I'm washing - it has to be in HOT water. I don't separate anything.

I do Laundry twice a week.Sometimes three, depending what's on the go.I separate light from dark as it gets dirty, makes it quicker loading the washer.I love drying my clothes, especially bed clothes outside on the line.Even in the winter and as long as I can get to the clothesline for snow.I like to keep ahead so,if I think I have a load to wash,I just bring it down stairs and throw it in the wash.
|How Do You Do Laundry on Apr 09, 2015 @ 10:04 pm|
I separate all my dark colored clothes and white clothes. I use stain remover on any visible stains. If some of the clothes are stained badly "like my hubby's work clothes" or soiled I pre-soak with #OxiStainRemover. I wash my darks with #ColdWaterTide it is great because it saves money and also cold water will not shrink sweaters or knits. I wash my Whites also with #Arm&Hammer for whites. I don't use bleach because it is not good for the environment and also bleach will cause your socks to have holes. My whites come out looking so clean. I also use #DownyUnStoppables with my linens and bedding they come out smelling great even in my linen closet. My delicate clothes like bras and lingerie I wash with #Woolite rinse and hang to dry. This way it preserves them to looking like new. Fun Post but wow laundry is a lot of work lol.
