Welcome! I think Chick Advisor is pretty clean cut and simple to figure out. Just click around and check things out; the tabs at the top of the screen (Beauty, Shopping, Restaurants etc.) will get you where you need to go if you need to find reviews/articles etc. and the links to the right are what you need to add your own reviews and such. :) I've been a member of several different communities in the past and really find Chick Advisor much more organized and easy to navigate than those ones were; I don't think you'll have any trouble figuring things out here. :D

Feisty's right. The navigation is as easy as it looks. If you have specific questions, it's a good idea to start in the forum and the members can redirect you. We talk about everything under the sun here, so you really can ask any question. If it's a little embarrassing to mention, just use the "anonymous" feature at the bottom of any reply - a lot of people do.

As for products and services, just use the search feature on the sidebar (2nd from top), make sure you have selected "all cities" from the drop box above it, and if there are any reviews for your search term they should come up nice and neat.

The blog and deal pages are exactly as they sound. The first has our blog roll as well as a link to our site blog "ChickLit" where we write about anything and everything, and we feature our members' blog in rotation (for those that have included a blurb anyway). The deal page is full of hand picked coupons, special sale events, and other deals. We update this page daily.

You can also interact with other members besides this forum. You can add friends, write on their guestbooks, and play the 20 questions game to let people know a little more about you.

Finally, you can create hotlists of your favorite items and places and embed them in your blog or other site. We also have some ChickAdvisor badges that you can embed.

I have probably neglected a few things.... I'm sure MissChickie will be lurking later and fill you in on anything I missed.
