I have never heard of it. What is it about?

It's similar to Klout in that your social influence is measured based on how many social media accounts you connect with. Based on this number and "lifestyle badges", you will get chosen for complimentary tailored Voxboxes filled with a variety of products. Those in the US get a lot more Voxboxes than those in Canada. The latest Canadian Voxbox had the Lancome Grandiose Mascara in it. After receiving a voxbox, you need to review it or post about it via social media to earn that specific voxbox badge and qualify for future voxboxes. From my experience, ChickAdvisor is better when it comes to qualifying for things to review, but both are fun to be a part of.

I signed up a few months ago. Like Cosmeticproof said above, it is similar to klout. There aren't many Canadian Vox Boxes, but when you do get and qualify for one you get great stuff. I have only ever received one since signing up and it was for press on nails. You promote the product and do mini challenges to earn badges. I would definitely recommend it. I do prefer Chickadvisor as well. I feel like there is more opportunity to qualify and actual review products here.

I signed up a little while ago as well and definitely prefer Chick Advisor. A friend of mine says it takes longer and more work to get products but the ones you do get are great.

Influenster is free to sign up, just like Chick Advisors. But it is defnitely harder to qualify for a influenster Voxbox as they measure your 'social impact' score by linking to your instagram and twitter account,

I have received several boxes from them, one mega box with lots of various products and a couple of beauty ones. They have badges you can complete to qualify for further items from the same voxbox but only the final survey is required.
I won a gel nail kit (lamp, polish, starter kit etc) worth $80-100 from one of them so it is worth it for me.
You are more likely to get the boxes if you have a lot of facebook friends / followers on other social media
