Do you chicks have one of these machines?! Which one do you like best? They all seem so similar!

I've had both a Keurig and a Tassimo. I loved them both, but I prefer the Tassimo, as you can make fancier coffees (lattes, skinny lattes, chai lattes etc) and you can also purchase Extra Large pods (that are perfect for a travel mug in the morning to take to work)

I agree with jcb75. I bought my Tassimo for the lattes and cappuccinos but use it for coffee as well. Since my husband doesn't do coffee this is ideal for just me. I have had the pleasure of using the Nespresso machine in a few hotels I have stayed in. Was nice but after looking into them I will stay with my not so expensive Tassimo thank you very much.

Tried all 3 and after the novelty wore off, I must say the Tassimo is most useful for me. I love the taste of Tim Horton's regular coffee and Tassimo disc makes them so perfectly. :)

I never tried Tassimo, but I love my Keurig machine and use it every day. I don't drink a lot of coffee, so it's perfect for me when I want only 1 cup. You choose your favorite brand and that's it ! The Costco boxes are nice, you can buy a mix one with different flavors. About 0.50 $ by cup.

I liked my tassimo, but I am finding it harder to find tassimo cartridges. So I plan on switching to a keurig

We used a Keurig, actually had 2 over the years, Initially we got one as a gift. It was not super practical as both my husband and I were big coffee drinkers, so we went through a lot of pods. Once he passed away I started using it again, as I was alone, and drinking less coffee, so it wasn't so expensive. Well, now that my kids are young adults and drink coffee, I have once again switched it out. I went for the Brew Station , which is a carafe free multi cup brewer. So, after a long answer, I guess it depends on how many coffees are made in a day, and how much are you willing to spend per cup.
Last note, I had 2 as our first one just spontaneously stopped pumping enough water per cup about 2 months after guarantee expired.

Definately Keurig! I use it all day long for all kinds of coffees and teas! I have looked at the Tassimo but the selection of coffees and teas is so limited in the stores!

Rivo on Jun 28, 2016 @ 10:22 pm

I've got the Keurig Rivo (and the regular Keurig as well). I'm a big fan of the Rivo. The difference between the two is that the Rivo makes lattes and cappuccinos. If you're big into those types of drinks then this is a great machine for you. The one possible downside is that you can't brew a regular coffee in the Rivo, just espresso and steaming milk.
