Lululemon Warehouse Sale

Is anyone going to the Lululemon warehouse sale? It's funny because before ChickAdvisor I never heard of any of these kinds of sales in Toronto!

I would think that it would be really busy (women grabbing yoga pants everywhere!), but I'm not sure if I should save my sanity instead and not go...

Anyone been to a kind of sample sale like this? I don't know what to expect...

expect lineups! on Jan 17, 2007 @ 11:02 am

I've never been to this particular sale but apparently there are usually lineups. It should be quite a busy sale so go early!!

Busy busy is right! on Jan 17, 2007 @ 04:27 pm

Yep I would go at the beginning of the sale day if you are going to go, there are lineups and people grabbing at everything. I know what you mean about sanity vs the penny saved. I have been to sales like this but not a Lululemon one. Bring a boy or a non-lululemon-wearer so he/she can stand in line while you grab your stuff! Good luck!

crazy sales on Jan 17, 2007 @ 09:28 pm

If i can only force my boyfriend to come shopping with me, he hates shopping!

My friend said she went to just a "friends and family night" at UB where they got 50% off everything, and took one look at the store/line-up and walked out. And that was only friends and familes of the employees of that store!

I hate crowds they make me uneasy! I hate to stereotype, but women and clothes o_O??

Yep a friend of mine went to the UB/Costa Blanca friends and family sale and made her boyfriend stand in line as she shopped and they STILL had to wait over 45mins in line. He still talks about the horrible experience to this day!

To go or not to go... on Jan 18, 2007 @ 11:53 pm

yea, I'm really debating whether or not to go, I find with these crazy sales you have to make sure you in the right state mind, because all the women grabbing at clothes can make you crazy!

true that! on Jan 20, 2007 @ 06:01 pm

Yeah I think I am going to skip this sale and just go shopping in Alberta when I go home...no PST, close enough to a sale without the headache. We shall see... Keep me posted as to whether you went and it was worth it. :o)

I have never been to the prairies, and I heard about the no PST thing from friends who went there on vacation. They bought so many clothes! That is brilliant, you must have come to Toronto and were completely shocked at how taxed we are here!

Yep yep! I was in shock by the taxes! Now when I go home and buy things I tend to automatically factor in 15 (now 14)% and then I am surprised when I go to the register and it is always cheaper than I expected...not a bad surprise! So did you end up going to the Lululemon Warehouse Sale?

It hasn't happened yet. I am still deciding... lol

Maybe I will get there and see the lines and then get scared and leave!
