I personally don't have a maid. I've been thinking about hiring one, just to do a deep clean in my home 1 time a month. I find it totally worth it.
My question is ... I've spoken to a company that charges 75 for up to 3.5 hours of cleaning. And they do praticallu everything I would love done. For anyone that uses cleaning services, do you also tip or just pay the flat fee?

Many of my patients use services for house cleaning, and they usually tip twice a year, usually Christmas and summer vacation, if it's a private service. If it is through an agency tipping is normally not permitted.

So there is no real need for me to tip on a monthly basis?

Some allow it, and some don't. I'd either email the company or call the reception and inquire if gratuities are allowed.

@ boychuk25, I think job has a good point...you may want to check with the office. Companies have strict policies, and you wouldn't want to put a worker in a compromised situation. Will you be hiring privately or through an agency?

Definitely check with the office! Good luck :)

I think I will go with occasional tipping. This is a private company with really good references. I have never used a cleaning service before and didn't know if a possible tip was expected or should be given.
Thanks again :)
