Just wondering if anyone out there actually makes their own pizzas from scratch. I know, most of you will say it's too time consuming, and I do agree. I was just curious if there were any others that do this

...but I cheat. I like to use Weight Watchers English muffins as the crust, and Classico jarred pasta sauce. Just add a variety of veggies and low fat cheese.

I do. Look up Ricardo's pizza dough. You can't go wrong with it.

I always make my pizza from scratch, homemade taste so much better than store bought ,I like using pitas as the base

But I do like to use pitas or naan as the base, spread on some tomato sauce(either store bought or home made), then everyone gets their favorite toppings. I just put bowls of different meats, veggies and cheese on the table and everyone goes nuts making their own creations!

I've did mini pita ones before, my mum called them Pita Bread pizzas. Just take a mini pita, put on tomato puree paste and then some cheese or whatever you want. I've had trouble finding the concentrated puree paste here in Canada though. I don't like chunks in the tomato puree.
