We all know that Barbie's proportions aren't exactly realistic. Well, what if Barbie was actually modelled after the average woman?
The results are pretty interesting. Here is Barbie on the left and a Barbie with the average woman's measurements:
What do you think of this experiment?

I'm just curious. I know with original Barbie it's pretty disproportionate between the breasts and hips and am wondering what the "normal" barbie's ratio is. She still looks pretty good to me!

I've seen the experiment where the girl constructed a life-size Barbie doll to show how disproportionate she is (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/galia-slayen/the-scary-reality-of-a-re_b_845239.html) and that was pretty scary.
This one kind of creeps me out more though, simply because I wouldn't want to be playing with a little doll that looked TOO human. It's eerie! Yeah Barbie is unrealistic, but she's a doll. They're supposed to be toys, not replicas of us.
Again, I think it's something every little girl should see to know "okay, Barbie is not what real women look like", but to see a little girl playing with one of those 'real Barbies' would probably weird me out way more!

I love that! It's crazy to see the little difference add up to a whole different look. I personally like both barbies!
