I'm kind of curious why so many older posts from 2007,2008 are popping back up,I think those people got their advice long ago, just seems weird commenting on it now !!???

I have to agree on Mar 07, 2016 @ 12:13 pm

and I'm beginning to think it has more to do with people getting more points, but I could be wrong. Just saying, don't mean to offend anyone.:)

I find it strange too, older posts have already been discussed and answered

Maybe people who are responding now aren't really looking at the date. That's what I first thought.

Maybe when they are looking through the posts they find a topic that interests them and they want to comment on it to get the post going again. Probably many reasons.....

I agree. It's seems someone is going through old posts and responding. I assume it's because they're trying to get more points?

Ditto. I find them a waste of time and they should be checked and deleted, just my opinion.

It is possible that members are bringing the forums back up so they have somewhere to comment and gain more points, BUT we like to keep posts, new and old, because not only does it provide a great read, but as well if someone is say in a similar situation as discussed on the forum, then they have their answer there for them nice and fast!

Also, please make sure that if you're posting anonymously you aren't also commenting with your username creating the perception that you're not actually answering your own questions. :)

If it's a personal q relevant to a person asking for advice I don't get it but if a poster does a search that's still relevant I. E. Points (which always comes up ) then maybe they want to add to it or ask further questions. Just a guess. FAQs imo should be made into stickies at the top of the page

I like to read some of the old ones. And sometimes especially if I posted a topic I am interested in the comments.

Cat22, I was glad you brought that up. I was fairly certain people were creating posts anonymously and then answering on the thread of that post, just based on grammar and writing style.
