pay for a campaign on BZZAgent?

on Nov 09, 2015 @ 05:11 pm

Did anyone else who got the Covergirl campaign receive an email mentioning there will be $1 fee to get the box delivered? But then the link goes straight to charity site?
Is it legit???

PAY FOR A CAMPAIGN ON BZZAGENT? on Nov 09, 2015 @ 06:49 pm

I never got that email. I just got picked for the #Olay Campaign. I have never been asked to pay for any product I have reviewed for them yet. I have participated in 4 BuzzAgent Campaigns so far.

I did see once about a year ago that they asked for a dollar donation to get it. I believe it was like a p&g;type sampler box. I found it strange. I ended up not receiving that campaign

I just got accepted to the covergirl embrace your face campaign, and never heard anything about paying for delivery or anything...weird.

No Pay Bzzagent on Nov 09, 2015 @ 08:57 pm

I got into the covergirl and did not have to pay. maybe you live very far and need to pay for the shipping? the only 1.00 I had to pay was for toothpaste due to Canada not allowing free toothpaste

That sounds very strange to me. I have been participating in quite few and never had to pay or "donate" for any of them..

I do remember having to donate $1 once, but $10 seems a little ridiculous. You could buy the products for less than that. Maybe contact bzzagent and ask them about it? They may adjust your score.

No, I don't live very far....
They said it was because the product has SPF.

This is copy paste of the message:

The COVERGIRL BzzCampaign is truckin’ along, and we just received an important update regarding your BzzKit delivery. As your COVERGIRL foundation contains SPF ingredients, it falls under a Canadian pharmaceutical regulation that requires you to pay a $1 delivery fee to receive the product. Now for the silver lining: All fees will be donated to Dress for Success, an amazing charity that helps women across Canada break the cycle of poverty. How awesome is that? Very awesome. Just follow this link to pay the fee so you can receive your makeup and start Bzzing.
Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for the lateness of this information.
Enjoy the campaign!
