I have blocked pop-up windows on Safari but in some websites I still get some windows that will pop up. I have an Apple Mac computer and wen we purchased it we were told that you don't get viruses on Macs, that if you do hit, go to some website that has some kind of virus that it won't allow it to get it. So I still am a bit worry. Is it ok or normal that it happens in some websites...? Earlier today this survey popped up and wouldn't go away without me pressing ok, didn't really want it to press it cause I was scared of getting something, so more windows started popping. So far though my pc has been acting pretty normal. How can I find out if I have a virus on my Mac? Anyone else here owns one...?

I would suggest taking your Mac into one of the Apple stores, like in Eaton Centre or Sherway. You can also book an appointment online before you go. The staff are pretty helpful, and they should be able to take a look and steer you in the right direction. You may want to show them the website you went to, and see if that window pops up again, so they can see what you're talking about. Good luck.
