I have over 10,000 point and I have yet to be selected for a campaign and I've been a member now since November. There are some member that just joined and have 500 or less that have already been chosen to do a campaign. I'm sure it has a lot to do with how pre surveys are answered too. I've read that good detailed reviews and a lot of activity on the site helps you also; commenting on thread and posting a new thread or even commenting on blogs, tweeting and instagram help a lot with getting chosen. There's a couple of new campaigns that are available, so good luck chick!

are pretty much just for fun, unless you're one of the top reviewers for the month, than you get a gift card. I'm going on my sixth year hear, I have 538 reviews done and I have 27,409 points. I haven't been trying to get a gift card and the amount of reviews you do has no effect on whether or not you're chosen to do a product review any way. I don't know where that idea came from, but its not true. Top reviewers just get a gift card, it doesn't help your chances of being picked! As long as you've done five reviews and you fit who they're looking for you can be picked. You don't have to kill yourself doing thousands of reviews. How ever, as long as you do your five, you're honest in those reviews, you write more than one, or two sentences in your reviews, are a good fit for the product and who the company that's supplying that product wants and you're fairly active on the site, you will eventually be picked. You have to remember how many people are apart of the web site and that they usually only have any where from 100 to 500 products available. If the product they have to offer is say for a baby, or an anti-aging product and you don't have a baby and you're young, they won't pick you. You have to be the right fit. When I first joined it took me months to be picked, but I tried to do the very best job I could with it and was able to get more and more after that. You don't have to write a book, just think about what you would want to know about a product before you bought it and go from there. Oh and one other thing, this is a Canadian web site and not many products are offered to members that live in the U.S. or else where. It very rare that the U.S members are asked to join in even if the product is sold in the U.S as well as Canada. This is because the companies are in Canada and they want to know what Canadians think about their products. Don't get me wrong, we welcome anyone to be apart of the site, I just wanted to make that clear in case it wasn't when you joined. Any how if I can be of any more help to any of you please let me know, I'd be happy to answer anything you might want to know and if I can't I can tell you who can. Welcome to the web site ladies and have a great day.

I've officially been a member for just over 8 years! So far I'm at 150 reviews and have 5,497 points. Points and badges weren't around when I first joined. Since I've been a member the biggest things that I found have an impact are the survey that goes along with the product and the quality of your reviews. First they want to make sure that you're right for the product and the best fit. If you are, they're also going to want to be sure that you are going to be providing constructive feedback.
There's actually a great post that Ali posted a few years ago (and then recently updated) with some tips on being picked that I highly recommend checking out!
My biggest tip is to have fun! I've joined many sites over the years and none of them have held my interest as long as Chickadvisor has. They are also by far the best with how often they offer products and the amount I've been selected for over the years compared to other sites I've joined. You'll go through some periods where it may seem like you're being passed over for a lot, and then others where they just want you to review everything!

Ive done 642 reviews and have 22,613 points I joined around the same time as Takoda and through the years we started chatting. We both have done many reviews and seen many changes on ChickAdvisor. Its a fun place to be,
Ive done that many reviews because I really enjoy giving my opinions. ChickAdvisor has really grown since I first joined but there are many more campaigns which is really great to see.Keep doing reviews and chatting in the community with fellow Chicks and just enjoy being here.
When a new campaign comes along fill out the questionnaire and if your a good match you will get a review. Dont be discouraged hang in there think of all the entries the ladies have to go through to pick people.Do honest reviews and try say more then just a few lines. The ladies and the companies really want your input.AS the ladies said above the main thing is to have fun!

Newbie here for just about a month. I have written just under 200 reviews and post on forum daily. I have earned many badges but have about 5 or 6 more to go get them all. So far I have not been one of the lucky ones to be chosen for a product review even though I have applied to many of the products to review and I have completed the surveys showing my interest ... trying to be patient though ...

I agree this is a fun place to be whether you are chosen to do a product review or not. I just joined and i'm already having a blast - I actually can't wait to have a night in to just catch up on everything I would like to review. I like to read reviews to help my purchase decision making or see if other people have had similar experiences with a product whether good or bad. So I hope giving my input or experience will too help someone in the future.
