What's with all these different Scotch Essentials ?? Enough already, that's pretty well all people seem to be talking about.Looks like the whole world is buying some form of these things. Don't people have a needle and thread any more? Do NOT mean to upset anyone, but really this stuff is really not classed as an "essential" Ridiculous.

Haha I think Scotch is listing them as essentials for young people who don't really know how to sew anymore. That being said, I do think the hem tape is a good idea. I want to hem my pants, but I feel intimidated by the sewing machine, I wish they still taught these basic skills :(

wonderwhatif You don't need a sewing machine dear. You can hem your pant easy with a needle and thread.

They are great when you are on the go and something happens or for someone like me who couldn't use a sewing machine if my life depended on it

To sew or not to sew on Nov 08, 2015 @ 06:35 pm

I do most of my sewing on an old Singer Sewing Machine that my Mom use to use.It is not electric or anyrhing fancy but,it helps me get the job done.As for hemming Pants,I do all that with needle and Thread.Guess you can say,I'm from old school. As for the Scotch Essentials,I think that is great also, especially for kids away at college or,carry in your purse for Emergency purpose.
