I've noticed quite a handful of you guys shop at SDM. I was wondering if you guys have any tips to offer to me such as when do they have clearout sales for makeup / seasonal cosmetic sales? I have a Shoppers Optimum card but I noticed they have occasions where there is 20xs the points etc etc. Does anyone know more about that? Lastly, do they have coupons in some of their aisles? ex. shampoo aisle? I hear of people finding some pretty decent coupons at their SDM
Thanks ladies! :)

I am a big SDM shopper. If you haven't already signed up for their online points coupons, that would be a great idea. You load special offers to your card without having to print out a coupon. They will send personalized offers every week, usually based on your shopping habits. As I buy my milk there, I am in often enough, and always head to the clearance rack first. It's really just luck...I have found awesome deals on clearance items. My SDM has some coupons down the aisles...I usually grab a few to wait and use when a sale comes on.

Sometimes they have a clearance aisle, so check your local and see. In my store downtown it was a whole aisle, but the one near me was just the end of an aisle.
You can get hair dye pretty cheap on clearance if you don't mind changing color from your usual, as when the package design changes they put the old ones on clearance.

Hey, darlin'... as a former Shoppers Druggie, I can tell you to come in often, and always check the discount cart. Also engage the staff, on social media and beyond- go to their galas, they're actually fun, and the $10 ticket gets you $5 off a product that night, as well as a draw, and I've won some sick baskets! You also get a goodie bag with samples, coupons and at least one full-size product. The CX companies use this as a way to get business, and so does SDM. You won't go wrong with spending 5 bucks, and you'll get a manicure, massage, makeover, whatever you sign up for. Get to know the chicks- they don't last long if they're not into beauty, so SDM doesn't hire wannabes. You'll benefit from their knowledge. I had one chick go home and get me a sample of Strivecta facial that was awesome. The above opinions nailed it, do check your fliers, and register online. Good luck, you're lovely!
