So has everyone noted that Shoppers has discontinued some brands? Alamay in particular is gone. Also they've brought in new lines!

Shoppers is so so as far as I'm concerned. Not a true fan of the place any more

There's still Almay in the one I go to. Shoppers was bought by Loblaws and that's why there's Joe Fresh makeup and Presidents Choice there now.

since being bought by Loblaws they have changed some of their product lines...I got some great bargains when they were liquidating items they no longer planned to sell.

The Shopper's I go to had all their Almay on clearance. I guess some stores have discontinued it. I definitely only shop there when things are on sale.

Shoppers is my favourite when I'm looking to do a haul! They have amazing products. I think almost all products are use-able it's just knowing the tips and tricks to make everything work to its best

I used to work at Shoppers.
It is common for some stores to discontinue certain brands but still carry them at other locations. It seems to depend if it classifies as a "beauty boutique" or not. Also, the sales make a difference. If the sales are not high enough and more product is getting pulled then actually sold the brands will decrease the size of their section or give up the spot. Very competitive industry.

I recently got some great makeup deals at Shoppers, including Almay products! Paid under 4 bucks for Almay foundation, $2.99 for a Loreal eyeshadow quad, and $3.99 for a Revlon mascara! Woohoo!
