Do you think it's sstealing to slip a plant when in a store? I just explained to a friend today that it's still stealing no matter what it is.

What does it mean slip a plant? Does that mean to take it? Then yes, I think that is stealing

Slipping is the term used for breaking off a stem to take home to root and plant.

Oh okay thanks for explaining. In my opinion, if one breaks off a stem of a plant to root it so they can plant their own, it is stealing in a way since one did not purchase it. When I think about it, one is pretty much robbing a potential buyer of the plant with one less stem. It don't find it ethical as whoever slips a plant has no claim on it because it is not theirs, and did not buy it, so yes, I think slipping a plant is wrong and stealing.
