So I'm so excited for summer to finally be here and to have nice weather again. That long Canadian winter was putting me depressed. I love that I can where all my cute cloths again and stay out late ! I have so many plans for once baby is here ! I was wondering what everyone else's plans for summer were? Going anywhere special? Just relaxing? Feel free to share !

No big plans...spending time up at the lake helping my mom build a dock and fix the sauna. My stepfather passed away unexpectedly last April, so there is a lot of work to be done that he started.

Sounds like lots of fun and I'm so sorry to here that about your stepfather!

Thank you for your condolences, they are much appreciated. My mom and I are super close and always manage to have a good time, even when there is work involved. Pour us a glass of wine, and hilarity ensues. But what an exciting time for you! Congrats on the bun in your oven!

Congratulations on the little one - that means a ton of fun this summer!
I'm hoping for lots of sunshine and road trips. We have a new fun car this year that we can't wait to get on the road. We have family that live on the bay of fundy not too long of a drive from where we live so we hope to visit often and just get away from the city and relax. No big "leisure" trips planned (just business ones) but you never know :) I kind of want to go to Colorado this summer to visit my bf's brother!
As long as there is nice weather though...I won't mind. As long as I'm outside.

All those sound wonderful to me. Lovesaraanne, I think you will love Colorado. I lived in Colorado Springs for a couple years, when I was married the 1st time, and had a lovely view of Pikes Peak. It is all military there. It is expensive too. I plan on doing, hopefully, some more of my concrete sidewalk. I do it all myself and have done the front and back in one long sidewalk of shapes. I use a mold for it that I got at Lowe's. I plan on re-mulching my grandsons playground and putting in colored sand-blue I think he said he wanted. I will have to haul in truckloads of mulch to do that. I wish we could get away just for the weekend. Who knows, we will see how things go. Good luck on the precious baby. I left you a note on your guestbook and thank you for the awesome comments you left me!! Ginger
