Tea drinkers!

on Jul 01, 2015 @ 09:41 pm

I'm trying to cut down on coffee.
I'd like to start drinking tea, but I do need some sort of caffeine or perk in the morning.
Anyone recommend a natural tea that boosts energy?
Or teas in general that contain caffeine?

What do you order at Tim Horton's, Starbuck's, David's Tea, etc.?

I'm a big fan of earl grey, or earl grey with vanilla!
Caffeine, and tasty.
I take mine with milk.

David's Tea on Jul 01, 2015 @ 11:20 pm

David's Tea offers some coffee-flavored black teas which do contain caffeine. The one's I've tried were Café Moka and Chocolate Chili Chai. I'm not sure if they are permanent flavors but I'm sure they would have something similar if you ask at their counter.

For At Home - Kirkland Green Tea! on Jul 02, 2015 @ 11:58 am

I really enjoy the Kirkland Brand Green Chinese Tea you can buy at Costco. It does contain caffeine - but much less than traditional black teas. It has a great taste and is not bitter at all - plus it has added antioxidant benefits. For when I'm out on the go I love Tim Horton's Steeped Teas as well

Quiting Coffee on Jul 02, 2015 @ 02:17 pm

I gave coffee up in January and started drinking tea instead. It was really hard at first but I am totally used to it now and actually really glad I gave it up. Here are some of my alternatives:

Peppermint tea with honey - the mint wakes you up a bit in the mornings.

David's Tea:

Jumpy Monkey (It has coffee beans and chocolate in it) Not as much caffeine as coffee would but a great tea for that transition from coffee to too.

Blueberry Jam Tea

Love Tea #7

Starbucks -

Jade Citrus Mint Tea

Decaf coffee like Americano makes you feel like your having the real thing just without the caffeine !

Hope this helps :)

David's Tea is the way to go! on Jul 03, 2015 @ 04:18 pm

I love David's Tea, my favorites to get from there are the organic peppermint tea and also the mango madness one is really good as well!

And since you are cutting out caffiene the peppermint tea would be a good option for you since it actually gives you energy naturally from the peppermint.
