I would prefer the Humane Society only because you get yourself an adorable puppy and the otherwise abandoned puppy gets a home.
Or you can always go to PJ's PetStore, I saw yorkies there a few days ago. Sherway Gardens & Yorkdale too I believe has PJ's. I saw the cute yorkies @ Sherway.

I would be surprised if you could get one for that price. I bought a dog a long time ago (Jack Russel Terrier) from a breeder for $500, which is apparently a deal.
Look for reputable breeders or the humane society. |

A certified yorkie goes for $1200-2500. I have a yorkie (although he is only 3/4 yorkie and he was half what a certified one goes for. You can try a breeder and you may get one for around what I paid for a partial or full yorkie if you are lucky.... |

Yikes...I paid $400 for my dog and he's not a purebred. He's a 3/4
chihuahua and 1/4 jack russell. You'll have a hard time getting that
price. |
