Everymorning I walk past a little convenience store with all of the major magazines featured in the window. This morning I noticed that most of the new issues were now in the display.
I have a craving to go grab the new glamour, and my cosmo should be in the mail soon.
What are some of your favourite magazines? Do you have a subscription or do you like to read articles online?

Sadly, I am far too interested in People and US Weekly. Thankfully, I nearly always resist the urge and don't buy it.
On the other hand, if I see a great cooking mag, you just know that bad boy's coming home with me (where I will promptly file it in my magazine rack, never get around to reading it, and eventually recycle it).
Mags that I actually read cover to cover are ones that make me feel smarter afterward (or so I like to think), like National Geographic.

I've never actually bought a gossip magazine, but I always flip through the copies at the gym. Somehow we can never get enough of: seeing celebs without make-up, in bikinis, or with their kids.

I'm always seduced by the glamorous covers in convenience and grocery stores. I often will stop and skim through it but I rarely buy.
@Mamaluv - I love National Geo too, I had a subscription last year and they've been hounding me to renew!

I forgot to add that I love the gossip mags too - I love the sections on what celebs wore that week
There's just something so nice and relaxing about flipping through magazines pages. Plus it's a nice break when you've been working on the computer all day

@Cathy - That's what I love about magazines the most; you can read them in bed, over coffee, in a bubble bath or where ever. They are one of my favourite de-stressors

fashion mags! I have been a long time subscriber to Elle Canada. After a few years away, I have just re subscribed to Fashion and LouLou magazine. I lost interest in their style and hope that things are fresher now. I tred More magazine but found it was targeted to an older attitude than mine (although I fit their age demographic.)
Never bought gossip rags, ocassionally get a years membership of a home magazine like This Old House or Canadian HomeWorkshop.

I love buying them, but I have to agree with mumaluv: a large percent of the ones that I buy end up in a cupboard and hardly read.
