Hey, I was wondering if anyone here knew anything about USB flashdrives and the differences between them all other than the size. I have recently thought of purchasing a USB Flash Drive/USB Key but the prices vary so much for the same size drive and I was wondering if anyone has any advice on what makes one better than the other...

I have a Lexar one and I bought that one because I heard it's the best brand. The best thing to do is probably go online and read reviews. There are many websites that post user or consumer reviews on technologies. Here's one from CNET:
Futureshop and BestBuy often have sales. When I bought mine, it was 50% off. So watch for them because it's not worth it to buy them at full price.
And depending on what you are using the USB key for, you may be able to save on buying something that has lesser memories. For example, I use mine mostly for transfering word documents between computers. I bought a 512MB a few years ago and I find the size is still pretty good for my purpose. If you plan on storing large graphics files, then you might want to go for more $$.
