So i've been with my boyfriend for 4 months, he is my first boyfriend...which means that he's the first person I'll be sharing Valentine's Day with...and i have NO idea what do get him or do.
If you have any fun inexpensive ideas please tell me!!

For the first V-Day that I had with my now hubby, I baked him cookies (which was a feat for me because back then I was terrible in the kitchen). That, with a cute card was all I needed. To celebrate we went out for a nice meal.
A great, inexpensive idea is to go ice skating/tobogonning/sledding. You will get to laugh and have a great day. Afterwards, go drink hot chocolate at a local coffee shop to warm up. If you are of legal age, you guys can go to a local pub for a couple of drinks and some shareable appetizers.
Don't put too much stock into going all out for Valentine's day. It doesn't have to be an expensive holiday with roses and chocolates and all that. It can easily be low-key :)
|Mix CD on Feb 10, 2010 @ 10:43 am|
If you already have a blank CD and an iTunes list, making a mix CD will cost you nothing. It might not seem like the most original idea to some, but it can be a really sweet gesture. Better yet, agree to both do it. You might find you've included the same songs! Put some songs on there that will take you back to specific times spent together. You'll have a great time reminiscing about those moments, and creating new memories.

These are great ideas..none of them came to mind!
I know my boyfriend is a big fan of cookies, so i may do that.
Thanks so much!
|Cake and a card on Feb 11, 2010 @ 04:01 pm|
My first Valentine sweetheart was my hubby, he got surprised cause he told me no one had ever given him something for valentines so he wasn't expecting to receive something from me. I baked him a cake in a heart shape, he loved it and ate it all at home, was pretty big too. I gave him a card with the cake too.
Happy Valentine's Day to all
