Very Upset

I have to share this. I have been looking for a new cell phone. Most people get a new phone when their plan is up for renewal but I won't give up my plan because it's great. I pay $50 a month that includes calls anytime day or night anywhere in the world even England. I have one friend from fb that actually lives in England and I have called him. I can text anywhere anytime and it's unlimited. So I keep the plan and looked for a phone. I found a site that sells refurbished phones, tablets etc, with great reviews so I thought why not!'I found an iPhone, not the newest an iPhone 5c for an ok price. It was a Canadian site.'free shipping and a 30 day return policy.!
I ordered it and the day it was to be delivered I checked the tracking and found that it was returned to the company because of an improper address. My credit card has been charged. $400 something . I called the Company and they didn't answer but returned my call. They told me to call Canada Post. I did and found out it was being returned because of an improper address.!That was 7 days ago. When the company receives the phone it will be mailed to me.! It's 7 days. The phone was mailed to me in 3 days but with the wrong address it went back to the company only it hasn't got there.
I am worried that I am going to be charged for the phone and not get one. I am almost positive that I put the right address when I ordered it. When I order online I always double and triple check before I submit.

I am so upset about this. Tomorrow after my appointments or inbetween them I am going to call and hope they answer. The post office told me that the company has to open a case to find the phone.-

So sorry to hear that. They should not charge you if you don't receive the phone. For these shipments I would think you would have to sign for it?

Tomorrow I will talk to the company and if it hasn't shown up there, they will have to call Canada post. I should of bought locally.

I have only purchased a phone in person once. The remainder have been through Employee work plans, so I just email or call when we're up for new phones.


I hope they are able to rectify this issue - I know how frustrating it can be!

I think $40 is a lot for the phone! I really hope they fix this seems the company is blaming Canada post Canada post should be able to tell u where they left it with tracking number sorry to hear about all ur headache

Not $40 it's $400. They emailed me this morning are checking into it, hoping I see it.
Thanks everybody I think I learned from this. Might have my old phone for a very long time.

If the tracking number clearly shows that you never received the shipment, then they shouldn't be charging you. I would speak directly to the company and also file a complaint case with Canada Post if you feel you did everything correctly.
