To make a very long story short - I entered a contest for a 10k makeover. There were a lot of problems with the contest and I mean a lot. But I won't get into that because the company that hosted the contest ended up being great and rewarded me a prize as well, which included countertops :)
So here's my question - I have the countertops being installed on Tuesday and it's all being done for free. The way the contest went down makes me feel a tad awkward for having this work done. Anyways, considering all this work done is free (minus paying a plumber) would you personally give the workers any sort of tip? I have never done any work in my home and don't even know if it's proper to give a tip when work is done.
So what would you do if you were having free countertops installed?
Thanks for all your help :)

The workers are getting paid as it is already by the company you won the make over from, but I know men love food.. so make them appetizers maybe? serve hot coffee, make cookies or brownies.. You aren't expected to pay anything aside your plumber, but it is nice to show thankfullness and I would feel the exact same way as you.. My Mom always brings the guys at her car repair shop home made baking every time she has any work done to her car even though she is paying them.. It makes the workers feel appreciated.. Hope that helps.. And congrats on the new counter tops.. sweet !!!

Agree with @MissNinja....they are getting paid by company. Ours is a 2 day job so I had coffee cookies and donuts in the mornings, they are great guys and I think really appreciated the treats! Lucky score wow congrats on the win.

I totally agree, I would just bake some goodies and have some cold refreshments available.

Makes me feel a lot better reading your replies. Coffee, donuts and sandwiches do sound really nice to offer :)
