My favorite store is Giant Tiger by far. They have great sales and service in my opinion. I always find something. Cheap, fun fashions allow me to buy trendy items without a huge investment. Frequent sales and markdowns keep me coming back.
What are your thoughts on this and other similar stores? I'm always up for something new.

Well since I work in a grocery store as a cashier I have to honestly say Farmer Al's great price on meat, produce and many other products. My family and I eat really well because of were I work. My second choice would be Giant Tiger and Dollar Sores I just love them. Great post.

I would love to go to giant tiger but it is to far away from where i live, so i have to settle for walmart lol, they do have good deals too and lots of affordable clothes for the kids which is great.

There is a Nygard outlet store in Winnipeg, Manitoba (maybe more in other cities - if someone knows of more locations, please reply!). It is awesome because all the Jay Set, Nygard, Alia, Tan Jay, and whatever other brands are in there at hugely discounted prices from the department or straight Nygard stores. They are a little behind in the seasons, but basically anything we had bought from there would get numerous compliments. I could go and spend hours there with my mom, and we'd both spend 100-200 bucks and have heavy armfuls of really well made clothing. Not just one or two things! Regular priced $70 shirt - I paid 2.99 one time for it because it was there for a while and the last one left! There's also the 'samples' (usually ~ size 6-8), which are either one offs, or slightly imperfect items at great discounts. Not great for men, or younger kids - but late 20's up to elderly, there's something classy for anyone's style - sometimes you just have to dig around!

I've become addicted to watching dollarama and dollar tree hauls on you tube than going and checking out the bargains myself. I do think dollarama is better in Canada, at least where i live.

We have a giant tiger in my city, but it's not close to home. But while staying in smaller towns, I would frequent them a lot. You can get some awesome deals there on clothing, and food.
I also like dollarama, but I find their prices are increasing. I guess that's like every business though!
