I'm from lovely Winterpeg. Don't mean to upset anyone but I thought I'd mention something that may make waves, so here goes. I am tired of being told when I make a phone call "press 1 for English" In Quebec you are not asked to "press 1 for French" No girls i am not prejudice or racist, I just think this is wrong I do not live in France or Quebec I apologize to whoever may be offended, but it offends me.

I'm from Scotland, but living in Quebec! Hoping one day to move to Ontario or maybe even BC, but it depends!

wonderwhatif Did you come to Canada old enough to actually remember Scotland? I come from a Scottish background myself but have never been there, sure would love to.

I am from the beautiful Frelighsburg Québec(Apple country) alot of orchards around here . @grammasdolly yes in Québec we have to press 1 for French and 2 for engkish especially when we call the government , for Sears orders too but they have people from India who answer your call (they are very polite though) and you have to talk slow and clearly so they can understand . So here too we have to press 1 or 2 and I am not offended , usually takes alot to offend me .So don't worry you didn't offend me . Take care everyone
