I came across a blog (www.girlratesworld.com) and she was talking about this new alternative to pads and tampons. That certainly got me interested.
So I went on the site http://www.divacup.com/ to find out more. Turns out...
The DivaCup is a non-absorbent menstrual cup that is inserted in the vagina and can last up to 12 hours without leaking if you insert it properly. It is soft and smooth so you can't feel it and is easy to remove. You can go swimming or do anything active while the DivaCup is inside.
A more interesting fact is that the DivaCup is very environmentally friendly. It is reusable so it saves you lots of $$ from buying pads/tampons. Since you won't need to buy, you won't need to throw out the pads/tampons either!

I don't know what to think of it yet but what do you guys think? Is it worth giving it a shot?

what the heck? is it an actual...cup? ....where...do you throw out...the...contents afterwards?
wait..so how do you know when it's ready to come out?
I'M SO CONFUSED!
I think i should read more about this before deciding on whether or not I would want to purchase one...So far, i'm not sure if I'm ready to move from tampons pads JUST YET, but maybe in a couple of years?
