I read an interesting article on BeautyEditor.ca about Botox actually giving you more wrinkles! Apparently freezing some of your facial muscles can cause others to wrinkle. As seen on Botox-fanatic Nicole Kidman, those wrinkles at the bridge of her nose are a result of Botox and are called "Bunny Lines" (cute name). Thoughts??

That's really gross, but I would never botox. Haha, that's like taking heroin(?), you're like injecting something into your body. And when you're older, you're gonna be looking like a shrivilled up pickle.

|Have you tried Botox? on May 13, 2010 @ 10:12 am|
I can appreciate why some women choose to get it. The last year or so I've really started noticing frown lines on my forehead. I've never tried Botox but I can see the appeal. It just makes me uncomfortable to think about. Has anyone tried it?
|I wouldn't try on May 13, 2010 @ 11:42 am|
I can see the appeal as well, but am personally too hesitant to try it. Not knowing the potential effects that could appear down the road is too risky. Plus, I think it's too easy a a solution. I'd prefer to stay 'youthful' by eating healthy, exercising and laughing a lot, regardless of how old I am. :)

On the one hand, I don't like the gradual signs of aging any more than the next girl. My issue is crow's feet at the moment. However, I'm enough of a feminist to say that I/we should own our age and stay healthy to look graceful and beautiful regardless of a little creasing... and maybe even because of a little maturity in our faces.
I say this now when I'm in my 30s. I suspect my tune may change in a few or 10 years, so take my opinion with a grain of salt ;)

Nicole Kidman was so beautiful (naturally) before...her lips and other facial features look so harsh compared to her softer look before
