 I need glasses now : (
Any websites or stores that you rely on for decent pricing? I only get $250 covered by insurance.

Costco has good prices on glasses (if you have a membership). Their frames are just as good as designer frames too.

I have gotten mine from the Clearly Contacts website and I have loved every pair. They are good prices, often have sales and you can pick which lenses you need, for example I currently have the blue reflect lenses as I work in IT. They are also great if you hate the glasses or if they fit weird or the lenses are off, you can send them right back and they will send you a new pair! Give it a try :)

Depends where u live on Mar 10, 2016 @ 10:11 am

Canadian Optical is a great place here in Windsor Ont. They work with what ever your coverage is and you get two. I can spend up to $400 and get two for that price. I just took my son in there this week, he can only spend $200, but he still got two. Another thing they just started is if you have to pay and than send your bill in before you get paid back by your insurance company, you don't have to pay up front now. They let you get the money from your insurance company and than come back and pay them. That make's it really nice if you don't have the money up front and don't want to use a credit card. Anyone can get two for the price of one. If you live near by you should look them up. I'm not sure if they have more store's, but you could always look them up and find out. Hope this helps.

I have purchased glasses and contacts from here for years! Never had a screw up on their end, everything arrived in perfect shape and within a week. I go in to the optometrist and try on glasses I like, then order from Clearly Contacts either ones that are very similar or the same brand at a better price.

Wal-Mart on Mar 10, 2016 @ 11:29 am

I actually picked up my last ones at Wal-Mart, although I was a little hesitant about it at first. They actually fit better then the previous pair, which I had paid far more for. At Wal-Mart they spent more time with me picking them out, and I went back for a readjustment a week later and they were fast and efficient. Honestly, i would go back to them again next time with no hesitation.

I wouldn't recommend buying online. Most places won't adjust or help if there's a problem. Where I get my glasses they have cheaper frames. It's the prescription that costs. Good luck!

Adjustments on Mar 10, 2016 @ 12:05 pm

When ordering from Clearly Contacts I go into my optometrist and just say, 'I need help adjusting these' and they do it. Maybe mine is just super nice but she's never told me no because I bought them elsewhere.

Its policy where I go have been going for years. And they know if it wasn't bought there.

Well, I must say, that's an awful policy. I'm glad my optometrist is so nice!
