I like most women love Jewelry,I like any kind of Jewelry from watches to Rings to Lockets.Anykind.I have a Locket on my neck which I never take off, only to shower.Inside is two pictures of my Grand-Son Matthew who passed away at the young age of seven from Cancer.Like I said,I never take it off.I was wondering if anyone else does something similiar to what I do?My Locket is Heart shaped and I guess in my own way,I'm keeping him close to my Heart.

Angelwings, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandson. I can't even imagine. I love that you keep him close to your heart in a locket. I think that is just wonderful.
My Mom has a heart shaped locket she wears all the time with a pic of me and my siblings as little kids. It's so sweet.
This year for Christmas my husband bought me a necklace with two pendants: a "J" and a "L" for the first letters of our kid's names. I've been wearing it constantly. I love the idea of keeping something of them close to my heart.

Hi Ali,so nice to meet you.I think your Mother is thinking the same as me.She likes to keep her kids close.I also think it is a Beautiful thing what your Husband bought you for Christmas. That way your babies are always with you.I guess maybe some people might think that I'm a bit off the wall but,it's my way in coping and getting on with my life.I just wanted to thank you for the kind words.

Hi Angelwings. My Mom's oldest grandchild passed away 4 years ago at age 13. He was full of life and his passing was so unexpected. That year for Christmas, I had ordered her a angel wing with his birthdate, name and date of his passing on the back. He passed away in November, so the holiday was very hard on her. She never takes it off.

I think that is such a beautiful gesture for the memory of your grandson. I am so sorry that he passed at such a young age. I have pictures on my dresser mirror of loved ones and pets that have passed on so I can see them everyday.
