I have been seeing ads in some magazines for this Crystal Natural Mineral Salt deodorant - please be advised:
The MSDS sheet shows that this chemical actually hydrolyzes in water to form sulfuric acid, and is a skin, eye and respiratory irritant.
The cosmetics ingredient database also shows some potential health hazards:
thanks. please research ingredients for your own and your loved ones' benefits :)

Ill have to look into that- my mum has been using their crystal deodorant rock for years.

And she has never experienced any adverse effects? That's good. I was really intrigued by this deodorant and all the reviews of its use seem to be great - even on here there are 2 from 2009 that say how great it is. .. I really want to try it but after finding the MSDS I am unsure.. but if your mum's used it for that long and its EXISTED for so many years and no one's had a problem.. maybe it isn't bad at all! I wish I was a chemist.

I tried those deodorants a few years ago, but after a few uses the whole thing just reeked like BO so I found them useless. :/
