Health > "Down there" Question

I'm a girl that does her research but I cannot figure this one out and it is very embarassing.
I was very overweight for a few years and I recently lost about 50 pounds. I am noticing things on my body that I haven't been able to see for a while, including some "down there" changes.

Before I became so overweight, my entire "down there" package looked completely normal and symmetrical. Now that I have lost this weight, I have noticed that one side (the labia majora portion) is WAY bigger than the other side. Is this normal? What could have caused it? Will it go back to normal once I lose the rest of my weight? It feels fine and looks fine, minus the size difference. I hope someone can help because my last resort will be to make a doctors appointment.

Any advice?

I would check with your Doctor to be sure. Doctors see it all so don't worry about the embarrassment part. I highly doubt you can freak them out ;)

I don't know how old you are, but I know that things like puberty can also cause changes to those areas.

Congrats on the weight loss! That's a big accomplishment!

Thanks, Misschickie! I appreciate that!

I am 28, so this is definitely a post-puberty change!
