I hae a terrible anxiety when it comes to others driving while i am a passenger. It's completely unreasonable, but it is intense. Does anyone else have this?

I have this! But I also have generalised anxiety condition and agoraphobia, so it's not really surprising to me.

I feel so guilty, because my husband is such a safe driver, but Montreal traffic is nuts!

I have always been anxious in cars, and I do have an anxiety disorder, but I was in a car accident in January and ever since it's been really bad. My husband was driving but it wasn't his fault that we got in to the accident (black ice on a bridge), and I know he's a good driver, but I get so anxious every time I get in a car now. It's the worst when I'm on a highway or with a friend who I haven't driven much with. Car accidents are frequent so it makes more sense to be anxious about it, compared to say, flying in a plane, but I know how much it sucks. It's prevented me from getting a driver's license and that's frustrating. I feel your pain.

I think it's because I have no control of what the other driver is doing. I also work in the insurance industry, and became extremely aware of other drivers habits and the ramifications of what can happen if drivers aren't paying attention or driving properly (proper space, looking at blind spots, merging, etc.).

I try my best to say nothing unless it is apparent that an accident is likely to happen if I don't intervene.

I don't get anxiety when I'm driving or when someone else is driving and I am a passenger.I usually get it when one of my family members calls me to take them somewhere.I have two sisters and a Brother who don.t drive and I just can;t say no when they ask me to take them somewhere.

Im happy to know I am not alone. I always try to explain to people that Im not purposely trying to annoy them by asking thrm to slow down or be careful. I just say it without thinking. And i know it can be stressful for the people driving, but its so hard for me sometimes. I agree with the notion of not being in control and that being nerve wracking. But i did just start getting my licence (at 30 lol) so maybe it will help

I'm the opposite. I got terrible anxiety driving, so I never got my license.
