Flotation Therapy

Has anyone here tried floatation therapy before? I'll be going for the first time tomorrow, I'm pretty excited! You spend 90 minutes in a sensory deprivation tank that's filled with salt water and just float, it's supposed to be incredibly relaxing!

Any tips for a first timer if you have tried it?

If you've never heard about it before here is the site for the place that I'm going to, they have a page that explains it more.

This is supposed to soothe and relax the body from constant stress, that's what I've heard.Advice?? Well, just relax and enjoy the experience.

How was it? I've been wanting to try it out but I have to wait till I go to my moms, the closest place they have it is in Montreal. I've got degenerative discs, along with other problems because of it. Seems like something that might actually help.

It was so relaxing! I was nervous about spending 90 doing just nothing, but time flew by, it definitely did not feel like I was in there for 90 minutes.

At first I found it a bit hard to relax because my breathing sounded so loud in my head! But after a while you just kind of drift away, I don't think I fell asleep, but I definitely spaced out and my mind just seemed to stop thinking.

I'm most definitely going back again, I'm thinking already sometime this week!
