I recently bought a name brand's new MultiGummie for women. All fruity flavoured, not really like me at all, but it was on sale, and had a $4 off coupon so it was a good deal for the quantity. Reading on gummies, not sure if it's truly as healthy as traditional vitamin pills. Doesn't seem to need the same regulations followed, they add sugar and stuff to make it 'gummie' and taste good. Two a day, chew chew and i'm done. But is it absorbed in my system or just stuck in my teeth? lol I eat healthy, so it is just a supplement for me, no issue swallowing pills, just wonder if others have used them and are happy with the 'gummie'.

They're probably okay, but for some reason they don't appeal to me. I'll stay with teh ones I'm used to.

I've used them and they seem to give me the value I need. If they're on sale go for it. But maybe don't go out of your way to buy them next time. I too prefer the good old vitamin pill. But if it's worth buying the gummy (cheaper) I will buy the gummy

I got a free bottle at the Woman's Show here in Ottawa. I think it's silly that adults need to have their pills made into fun candy, but that's just my opinion. The ones I received didn't taste that great either. But if they're cheaper, I'd buy them.

I personally like them better as I always have a hard time swallowing pills so these work for me.

I have some info on this! I suffer from ARFID and as a result take almost no nutrients in regularly. I have to take a multivitamin and an iron daily as I also have Anaemia for obvious reasons.
Gummy vitamins are very useful for those who, like me, can't swallow pills, HOWEVER, if you're in serious need of nutrients it's a route I don't suggest. For this reason:
Gummy vitamins contain very small amounts of your daily recommended allowance of mostly everything. Most gummy ones come in packs of 30, but you have to take four a day just to get any nutrients (read the back of the pack and all the info is there).
They're great for kids or those who get the majority of their nutrients from food, but if you have a serious problem like me, I'd recommend getting non gummy chewable vitamins and iron online. They're not the best tasting, but bearable and they carry 100 percent of a lot of what you need.
Let me know if anyone wants the brands and website I use and I'll post it here.

Thanks for the info. My friend has vitamins deficiencies and I told her to take the pill form. She can't swallow them and turned to the 1 a day gummies and think it's sufficient. I didn't think the are either, guess I know now, I could tell her to get the chewable ones. Thanks :) I always just taken the pill so I'm used to them.

Thanks for the nice, friendly variety of opinions. I guess many brand name companies jump on the band wagon doing gummies. This brand has 130 gummies in the bottle 2 a day, women's formula, so it will last comparable to the bottle of pills the same reg price. As i said, it was on sale, i had a $4 coupon off as well and got bonus loyalty points at the store, so it was just too hard to pass up and give it a test. Only downside is there isn't as many vitamins/minerals in them compared to a pill version for obvious reasons. Whatever our reasons, at least we're looking out for our health! :-)

Personally, I say "YAY!"
As someone who has trouble swallowing pills/gel capsules, I wish there were more gummy/liquid options for the various vitamins.
