I find that the best snacks are the ones you make yourself since you know exactly what went in them!
I love making my own trail mix with organic raw nuts, dried fruit and chunks of dark chocolate. I often bake banana muffins or oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with whole wheat flour and dark chocolate. Fruit by itself tends to make me hungry but I really enjoy grapefruits.

I love to munch on chocolate covered soy nuts! Edamame is a great snack, too!

Where do you buy those?

I love to snack on various fruits/berries. Fresh is best of course, but not always practical so canned (they make small 1 serving cans of some of them) or those little plastic fruit cups are a good option too.
And I'll second the almonds - you'd be surprised how a handful of almonds can fill you up. =)

I buy chocolate covered soy nuts from Trader Joe's. Not sure if there is a TJ's near you, but you can probably find them at any natural foods store.

I eat a lot of carrot sticks and fruit for snacks, but I also need sweet stuff. I buy Kellog's bran snacks, or the Quaker crispy delights - they are made from brown rice and have a drizzle of chocolate on top - SO SO yummy! and each bag is only 90 calories! They are fast and easy when I am in a rush to pack for work. I also take fat free pudding cups, cheese (those mini baby belles are perfect, or the la vache, which also come in light!). I also buy sugar free chocolate from Bulk barn, like the chocolate covered nuts. This way I get a little of everything throughout the day, from fats, to dairy, and it keeps me satisfied. All these things can be found at the grocery store or bulk barn.
The again nothing beats a donut (sigh)....

I treat myself often to a cup of Activia yogurt with real fruit pieces. It has the sugar/carloric intake to give you energy + the active bacteria + it tastes really good.
I find carrot sticks to be a filler also. You're gonna hate me, but have you tried V8 Vegetable juice (100%) cans? Really energizing, very healthy, and full of all the good stuff you need (antioxidants, iron, fibre, 2-3 equivalents of your daily vegetable servngs)

and cheese sticks
I have a job that is fairly physically demanding, and I've found that these three things keep me going without making me feel too full and yucky.
