Here's a little bit information on heat rash you can read up on:
If you think you have heat rash and you are getting them in your sleep, maybe your room is too hot or your bedding is too warm. Tried reducing the room temperature or number of blankets. You can also tried using a dehumidifier to remove some of the moisture in the air.
If you are concerned about this, you should go see a doctor and get the rash checked out. Maybe it's not heat rash at all...

Think you could describe more detail? Where do you get the rash, what does it look like, how big, etc? I broke out in a horrible 'rash' years ago and unfortunately know quite a bit on the subject of random breakouts.

its a ver fine rash, the bumps are very very fine and the area becomes inflammed.it can be itchy but when i scratch it feels prickly.also it is just below my armpit; where my arm and body meet.its also on the part of my arm where the two are in contact.
i also had a bad breakout rash before but this is different.could you tell me more about the other rash too pls?

I suggest you go see a doctor. Many things can cause a rash, eg. allergic reactions to food, sensitive to lotions, heat, some underlying skin problems.
Never attempt to diagnose something yourself because you could be wrong and your condition will get worse. If this isn't urgent, make an appointment to see your family doctor so she will have time to examine you more carefully. If it's really bothering you, go to a walk-in clinic and see someone immediately.

The rash I got resembled eczema but turned out to be an infection/allergic reaction I had gotten from my cat. You could just have this rash from many things - you could be sweating a lot in your sleep causing a heat rash from moisture - bacteria feed of moisture. But if it persists do what BB says - go to a dermatologist and they'll know right away. I put it off cause I didn't want them to prescribe cortazone but if I hadn't, I would have never known it was infected and that I needed antibiotics.
Try using things that are unscented and see if it helps. A good cream to try is from L'Occitane - their Shea Butter line. Try and wash your sheets/clothes in unfragranced detergent also.
