how do i get those parts in shape?

I have finally decided to get shape! Yay!! I am 5'10 and 165lbs. Which isn't too bad but i'm unahppy with the way I look. I am tired of summer coming and being the one still wearing jeans and capris because i'm ashamed of my body.
I guess my questions are how do I begin? I don't want to be super skinny, I want to be super toned and have myscle definiton. My main concerns are I have some cellulite on the back of my legs right below my butt and I have no idea how to get rid of it. I also want a nicer butt. I have always had a flat butt and I want to change that. What workouts should I do? What foods should I focus on eating to obtain a toned and defined body? Is there anything else I should know or do? I really need help... I'll post a before and after photo once I'm done.... Thank You so Much!!!!!

I fel your pain - my wedding is in Mexico in 6 weeks and I am the same weight as you but an inch shorter so I imagine we share a similar goal...

No matter what - you can't spot-reduce...You can improve definition with targetted exercises but you need the cardio in there to reduce any fat that might cover your muscle tone.

For a flat butt - you should try the fitness videos by the FIRM. there is an exercise in alot of them called the "Leg Press" where you hold weights and rest one foot on a 12-14 inch step. Using that leg, you pull your other leg up so you are then standing on top of the box. Then lower the leg down again and repeat 12 times...then switch legs and repeat. I don't have the flat butt issue, but I knwo people who have seen wonders done with this exercise. I can't really do the exercise anymore because my round but kinda went all bubble on me and I can't seem to get it back to where it was before...so if anyone knows any "make your butt FLAT" exercises - I'd love to know lol

As for cellulite - I found that good old bicycling made a world of difference on mine...in a couple of months of bike commuting to work, I had to really hunt to find it where it used to be (and BOY did it used to be). Dry brushing helps too.

For feeling better about summer - I am looking for fun sundresses and only buying tops and bottoms that are very flattering. I don't want to rememebr my wedding trip as the one where I hid in a muumuu on the beach. Buy yourself some pretty and forgiving tanktops (the kind that skim over stomach and hips isntead of clinging) and longer shorts look chic and forgiving without covering you right up.
