|Yes I recommend it on May 31, 2012 @ 01:36 pm|
Hi, yes, I had lasik laser eye surgery in August last year. I am 50 and had blended lasik laser eye surgery so now one eye sees distance and the other sees close up and I no longer need distance or reading glasses. I recommend having a consultation with a reputable surgeon who will test whether you are suitable for surgery or not. I found the procedure a little uncomfortable and recovery took a little longer than I expected, however I did recover well and am very pleased I had the procedure done. See www.myeyebook.co.uk. Bear in mind that sometimes things do go wrong, nothing in this world is guaranteed! In any case, I wish you lots of luck and all the best if you decide to go ahead!

I am planning to get it in the future. For the moment my vision is getting worse and I was told I shouldn't do it until its been 2 years and my vision hasn't changed anymore. But I really hope to get it some time soon, I am so sick of glasses and contacts.

...but I have known a couple people who have gotten it. Just for your consideration though, my mom had it done probably about 10 years ago and now she is back to needing glasses to read, drive, and work on the computer. General consensus, though, is that it is totally worth it.
