Coconut Chicken on Apr 28, 2012 @ 01:55 am

First of all, you need to join Pinterest :)

Second of all, I've gotten some super awesome recipes from there but my favourite and my husband's favourite is coconut chicken. You can get the recipe here! http://budgetbytes.blogspot.ca/2010/01/coconut-chicken-w-sweet-chili-sauce-691.html

The only thing I do different is bake the chicken instead of fry it, but I do put just a few drops of canola oil over top of the strips. It just bakes a little better.

It's a hit in my house - with the in-laws too. I've gotten many requests for it. I recommend a try!
And make SURE you use the sweet chili sauce! It totally makes the whole dish.

Has a lot of good recipes and they have a healthy living section for
people that are on special diets, or that just want to eat healthier.

All recipes and food network! on Apr 30, 2012 @ 11:28 am

I'm addicted to trying new recipes!!
I try at least 2 every week if not more.

First like someone suggested there's Allrecipes.com.
What i like is that you really can't go wrong! Some recipes have more than a 1000 reviews, i mean it must be good right? Let's say i want to do a meatloaf well i'll search for meatloaf recipes and then narrow by rating and check the top recipes for a meatloaf.

The other site i use frequently is foodnetwork.com. (I'm addicted to watching the food network) you can find simple recipes by renown chefs. They also have great ideas for any holidays!

At last, i don't know if you live in Ontario, but the LCBO has this magazine called FOOD & DRINK. It's free and coming out a couple of times a year. It has a lot of new recipes in there. I tried a bunch and they were delicious. (Some take a while to do thoug)

http://thepioneerwoman.com/ and http://tastykitchen.com/
These are kind of my staple websites to browse for interesting articles, giveaways and most of all the delicious recipes. Whenever I'm looking for something new or just ideas/variations for recipes I already know, that's the first place I check online these days.
(She's got a show on Food Network as well as a few cookbooks out too :) )
