Losing weight tips

Any good ideas on how to lose a few pounds in a week or two?
I've hit a plateau and want to lose about 10 pounds more until I'm back to my pre baby weight.
What kind of foods do you chicks eat to help you lose weight?

My opinion on weight loss is to learn to love your body as it is and take things slowly, since fad diets and even 'lifestyle changes' can cause problems down the line.

However, I also can't fault anyone for feeling uncomfortable and desiring a smaller weight especially in today's society.

A good healthy way to lose weight is to switch to a more vegetarian diet for many meals, just make sure you're getting protein and iron from other sources!

You can also use muscle exercises to tone up if you want to look smaller without losing weight.

The only thing that helps me loose weight is by cutting my meals in half.I eat a lot of Rabbit food and Yogurt.That is the only way I can do it.As for exercise,I do a lot of work around my home and garden,that keeps me busy enough to loose weight.

Back in June I got strep throat and lost 8 lbs in 1 week...lol... I don't advise it! But that did spur me on to lose a little more! For me it was eating a cleaner diet, no processed foods, cutting back on my sugar intake and drinking lots of water.

It's completely normal to plateau. Our bodies get used to routine. Try not to worry about losing a certain amount of weight in a set amount of time, or you'll drive yourself insane.

I lost a good 60-70 pounds on my own after being overweight in my teens. I've kept it off for seven years now, and I can't exercise the way I used to due to chronic pain issues. Most of it is what I eat, and even then, I try not to worry too much.

My best advice to you would be to just incorporate foods and exercises which you can see yourself sustaining as a lifestyle habit, rather than a strict diet and workout regime which you dread. And really, as long as you're healthy, be happy :)

I would say meal planning before your week starts. I usually have a short work day on monday, so on sunday I plan out what I'm cooking for breakfast, work food, work snacks, and after work meals for the entire week. Then i go food shopping with my list after work on monday and cook and pre pack all the food, snacks, dinners. Its easy to overeat or go for junk food when you don't already have prepared, portioned food waiting for you. One day of planning ahead will save you a lot of struggle during the week.

I am generally not a diet fad girl, but I have been doing a bit of "paleo" just to cleanse...I don't even have any weight to lose, but I feel the pounds shedding already!
I exercise a lot....after I had my kids, it took me a year to lose my babe weight. Be gentle with yourself. You are beautiful with and without the extra pounds :)

Eat no, or very little red meat. Eat a lot of fresh fruit and veggies, drink lots of water, exercise,and always eat small portions of everything.

You say yogurt, but yogurt generally is fattening depending on which type you eat. They have a lot of sugar content.

I have the same problem after kids cant lose my belly fat. So, i started 1 st of august my new healthy lifestyle i use kids plates to serve my meals and healthy snacks between regular meals, i use salary, cherry tomatoes and kale chips lots. I dont exersice enough but kids keep me on my feet all day. And once every 3 rd day i use a protein shaker instead of my supper. Good luck with your weight lose,hope i can do it too

I meal plan for the week, make a grocery list, and only buy what is on the list. If I start going through isles, that's when I want to get the extra goodies, so I know my store and head right where I need to go to get what is on the list.

Another thing I do is only drink only water. Other drinks tend to be filled with sugar that we don't need. Water hydrates me. Add a lemon slice if you don't like the taste.
