I'm normally very paranoid about getting pregnant, so I'm on the pill
and my boyfriend and I use condoms too. A few weeks ago I took the
pill about an hour late (cause I didn't hear my alarm) and the day
after the condom broke. We noticed this, and stopped (Before he got
there) -- but I'm still paranoid that I might be pregnant. I'm tired
all the time and have had a slightly sour stomach lately. I'm not late
yet, not for a few days, but I'm still worried.

Mostly just wondering what the odds are that I might be pregnant, even
though I keep trying to assure myself that it's just psychosomatic.
Has this happened to anyone else? Sorry for the stupid question, hehe.

comotized	kudos to being safe on Feb 03, 2009 @ 11:15 pm It sounds like you've been pretty safe but if worse comes to worse and you do end up being late or your symptoms worsen, make an appointment and find out for sure. It's the easiest way to put your mind at ease or at least know the truth.

However, as far as I know, taking the pill an hour later should not be a problem. It's when you miss taking it for a day or more that you should be more concerned. Of course, anything can happen. The Pill is only 99% and condoms about the same; I have heard of people getting pregnant despite using both properly. There really is only one way to avoid pregnancy and that is abstinence. But you already know that! I have 3 kids and I can tell you that my symptoms didn't start up that quickly. It wasn't until I had missed my period that I started noticing changes. Obviously everyone is different, but I wonder if your sour stomach is more about your stress at the possibility of pregnancy than anything else! In the meantime, you could try the First Response pregnancy test - it's meant to be taken up to 5 days before your period is expected to begin - and just try to relax. It's probably nothing :)
