other reasons on Jan 26, 2009 @ 08:35 am

Are you particularly stressed or have you been ill recently? These could easily mess with your cycle. To be safe, you should always check with your doctor. I know you must be nervous and don't want to hear any bad news, but it really could be something minor and you need to be sure.

Visit the Doctor on Feb 12, 2009 @ 06:32 pm

Albina, I'm glad you said you are going to the Doctor. It could be related to the shots you got in December, but I always say better safe than sorry and go in to see the Doctor. You have now had 3 periods in just over a month so your body isn't liking something from the sounds of it. Let us know how it goes. A lot of people are interested in this topic and it seems to be a common concern. Every bit of info helps!

I got my period twice this month but the second was only 1 day on May 26, 2009 @ 04:48 pm

So, my period came on on May 6. I am a regular 32 day cycle. 19 days later, my period jut POPPED up!!! No warning sings or anything. It was there fully fledged. No spotting, cramps or anything. It lasted for 3 hours. I passed 3 clots. It was heavy, not light. Later that night, nothing. the next day, nothing!! I am married and always have unprotected sex. No pills, shots or condoms. What could this mean? I had surgery back in October for a poly that was in my uterus. Can someone give me some advise??

Thanks

Hi,

I am 19 and I got an abortion in November of 09 and haven't had a period since then.I was with my boyfriend from december 27th to january 3.We had sex every day since from the time I got there to Jan 2.I started bleeding Jan.2-5 and didn't worry about it.Then Jan.29th I started bleeding again.Ever since then I haven't been feeling like myself. My stomach is turning when I wake up in the morning,I cant sleep on my stomach cuz it hurts, and I always find myself eating something.(ALL OF THE TIME).

Can someone help me please. What could be wrong? Could I be pregnant?

Thanx

You should both go to the Doctor. Don't self-diagnose. If you suspect you are pregnant, take a home pregnancy test. In both of your cases you have either had an abortion or the morning after pills. Both can do a number on your bodies and you should taken be reporting any unusual side effects or symptoms to your doctor. Take this very seriously because one day you will probably want kids and you would really regret not being proactive about your health now.

Let us know how it goes!

Don't Worry! on Apr 09, 2010 @ 01:17 pm

Please try not to worry. I am sure it is nothing to worry about, but if it eases your mind, go see you GP (Family Physician) and let him/her know, and he/she can diagnose this, and possibly send you to a Gynecologist to look into this, and possibly (and keep in mind you DO NOT have to be sexually active whatsoever to do this) put you on a low dose Birth Control which will regulate your periods for you so you get them at the smae tume every month.
There are many reasons why this may have happened, stress, if you are feeling stressed can also play a factor, I have not gotten my period for 2 months due to stress, according to my Gyno.
And DO NOT self diagnose yourself, let a professional do this for you.
And book and appt. asap, and in the meantime, try not to worry, this happens to many women, I am irregular myself...
