Really having a hard time with this Pneumonia racket.I was at the Hospital all day today ,having some tests done .I was in Emergency from 9:30A.M. this morning until almost 4;00P.M.I was on Oxygen all that while because I was having trouble Breathing. This has been two weeks now so,it's time for me to start getting better.I had prescriptions and Bronchial Inhaler Monday, from my Doctor and now another prescription and two more different Inhalers from a Dr. in Emergency.I'm like a walking Zombie from all the Medications, this is not adding in my own Prescriptions.I wouldn't want or wish this on anyone. It takes the good right out of you and leaves you weak.I just read some of the reviews that Chick Advisor had back on some of the products, some real nice comments.Which is nice to know.My congrats!!!! to them.I try to keep up with everything going on.Will keep in touch.TTYL.

Hi there, I really hope you get to feeling better my friend. I know it takes a toll on your body, both physically & mentally. I am saying prayers for you a speedy recovery. If you need to talk, I usually check in every day to see what's going on. Get plenty of rest, drink lots of fluids & eat chicken noodle soup (or broth). Drinking fluids is the main thing-it helps push that nasty stuff out of your body. Hang in there, you're a tough lady & I'm sending my prayers your way. Ginger.

My goodness, I hope you feel better soon!
I know it's not much, but when I was down with pneumonia it was very hard for me to sleep due to shortness of breath and chest pains, but sleeping in an almost "sitting up" position, propped up by pillows helped quite a bit. The prescription antibiotic given in most cases can also upset your stomach, but eating some yogurt will ease it.
And as previously said, lots of fluids, because it's easy to dehydrate when sick, and lots and lots of rest. Wishing you a very speedy recovery!
|Thanks for all the well wishes. on Aug 28, 2015 @ 09:19 am|
Thank you Ladies for all the get well wishes. The Doctors call this Pneumonia and it is some hard to beat.I am taking that much medications,I don't know if I'm coming or going. This cough is wearing me out.Thank goodness I gave up smoking a while back or it could have been a lot worse I guess. My Doctor gave me this Antibiotic capulets to take that cause sleeplessness ,well wouldn't you know it,I have Insomnia anyway, been like it ever since my 7yr old Grand-Son died Matthew. That was 15 yrs ago(yesterday). One of those things you just don't get past in life, you just take it one step at a time.I'm trying to keep up with what is going on with the site,I read a lot on it to see how everyone is doing. This is a wonderful site and I love it dearly,I love our community and I love the Ladies who run this site and do a wonderful job at it.Sorry if I don't write back individually but, will keep in touch.Take care everyone and will talk to you soon.Love xo.

I had pneumonia when I was in high school for 2 months. I wasn't allowed to leave the house, just for my doctors appointments. It was so brutal. I was taking horse pills & was prescribed inhalers also, then to find out they were a waste of money from my specialist. Hang on there it will get better.. Get a lot of REST!
