I have two different but related questions:
First, I've been on the pill for 5 years now. This month, I got off my regular cycle due to getting new prescription filled late. I started my new pill pack 9 days later than I should have. I'm wondering if my cycle will follow by previous pack cycle or the new one? If I would usually end the pack (start sugar pills) this Thursday (start period Saturday-Sunday), should I be getting my period at the same time or 9 days later due to new pack ending next Friday (and start period next Sunday-Monday)? Also, during these 9 days off the pill I ovulated around 1/14. From 1/11-17 I had sex about 3-4 times. While my boyfriend wore a condom when he ejaculated, there was a limited amount of time he was inside me without a condom each time (about the first minute of intercourse). Today I started having menstrual-like cramps on my right side and I'm worried that these are implantation cramps due to the odd timing. Should I get a pregnancy test? This is a lot of information, but thank you for any advice.

I would get a pregnancy test just in case since you're back on the pill. I would be very careful and keep the pills up to date if the test is negative. You could call the health dept in your area and ask about your cycle. I was always told to start where i left off, but that was many moons ago. Goodluck june0604.
