Anyone make homemade protein bars and have a good recipe? I have a good one for Granola Bars but even looking at the homemade protein bars on pinterest they are all full of syrups and ingredients I've never even heard of. Hoping for something basic with good household ingredients.

One of our techs here at the office makes his own. Next time I see him, I'll ask for his recipe for you.

Here's a link to a delicious one!
There are no strange syrups or anything :) You can add in a scoop of protein powder (more of a rice protein powder) for extra protein that way.

So easy to make Just get some rolled oats, dried cranberries, peanuts, corn syrup, coconut, and roll. These are really good and you can basically add anything you like. I sometimes add dates to mine.

That is something I would love to try! Granola ones sound really good!

@dollysgramma That sounds simple! And dates are great because they hold everything together. I also found a simple recipe using coconut cream, protein powder, peanut butter and oats. I may try that one sometime.
