OMG! Did anyone else read this article? I was SHOCKED! I mean, I thought we are civilized in Canada and that we have rights as a human being! This is appalling!

I can't believe that they would think it's acceptable to do that without permission!! What a violation!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I read this just now!! This is so insane - what happened to ethical practices? what about the sovereignty of a person over their own body? I'm so upset and angry at this!
Considering I recently had someone close to me undergo surgery, I am now wondering if such things were done to her as well...

I can't believe this is happening in our own country!!! Who would have thought???

We as a patients have rights, and those rights have been violated. At least they could do is ask for permission before they have students go poking around first. If for any reason I need to go in for any minor surgery in the future I know there will be a few more questions I will be asking, like "Will I be poked and prodded by any medical students while I'm under?" TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!
